We appreciate your willingness to share your personal story about the need for Congress to repeal the new provision in the health care law that requires consumers to obtain a doctor’s prescription before they can purchase an over-the-counter medication using their FSAs.

Here are a few pointers for sharing your story:

  • Be Personal: This is your story, and you should focus on the burdens you have faced while attempting to comply with the new OTC prescription rule. 
  • Be Specific: The most powerful and memorable stories include specific, real-life examples.
  • Be Concise: There's no specific limit on the length of your story, but you should try to communicate the essence of your story as clearly and concisely as possible.

Your personal stories are the most powerful call for Congress to protect FSAs and reverse this new rule.
